Scaups Scramble at Foster

General Info:

Please arrive at Foster at least one hour prior to your tee time. Check in at the pro shop. Ducks always respect the golf course and their fellow Ducks.

 

Please wear appropriate golf attire:

A.  Shirts with collars required.

B.  Mid-thigh shorts and jeans (without holes) are acceptable.

C. No cut-offs, tank tops, halter tops or swimsuits are allowed.

Rules:

USGA rules. Lost balls or balls hit O.B. require stroke and distance penalty. The Modified Lost Ball rule applies: If a ball is hit into an unmaintained part of the course (e.g. the woods) that is not staked as O.B. and the player cannot find the ball, the player may elect to drop a ball, within two club lengths of the point of entry into the unmaintained area (no closer to the hole), under penalty of one stroke. For O.B. players can opt to take a two-stroke penalty and drop in the fairway nearest to where the ball crossed the O.B. boundary (no closer to the hole).

Format:

Four-Duck Scramble. All players tee off on each hole, then pick the best shot and all team members hit from there. Repeat until holed out. You must use at least THREE tee shots from each team member. If your team does not have a full foursome, rotate the extra shot between the team members.

Slow Play:

Do everything possible to keep pace with the group in front of you. Play ready golf. Beware the curse of the Slugeater Award.

Directions:

Course is in Tukwila. From I-5 north and south take exit 156 for Interurban Ave toward Tukwila. Use the middle lane to turn left onto Interurban Ave S. Golf course will be on the left: 13500 Interurban Ave S.

 

From I-405 south, take exit 1 for WA-181 S toward Tukwila/W Valley Hwy. Turn left onto Interurban Ave S. Golf course will be on the right in about 1.4 miles.

Course Rules:

No beer or coolers allowed on the course.

Scoring:

Use the course scorecards. Each group will be responsible for entering their score on the team sheet.
