Mount Si
I believe it was Greg who said something along the lines of “Maybe we’re going to have good weather for all our tournaments this year.” Well, talk about your Kiss of Death… We had cold, we had wind, and we had rain. Lots and lots of rain. You’d think Ducks wouldn’t mind a little wet, but our scores did not show that. Only two Ducks managed net scores under par. Dave Hardy and Ron Gaudette both carded excellent net 70 scores; unfortunately for Ron, he and Dave are both in the Louie division, and Dave won the tiebreaker. Leif Sorensen fired a net par to top the Dewey division, a couple strokes ahead of Howard Veal and Tyler Roush. Thomas Larsen took honors in the Hueys, two strokes better than Curtis Soares.
Team winners were Jeff Braden and Jim Hansen in the low-handicap Harlequins flight, Thomas Edgar and Ron Gaudette in the mid-handicap Wood Ducks flight, and Tyler Roush and Jeffrey Herget in the Teals. Top finishers in the skins game were Bill Goodman, Nick Jenkins and Larry Kaleiwahea. The Scrooge winners were Dave Hardy, Leif Sorensen and Bill Gannon.
You can find all the winners on our website.
